NBA Trade Rumors: Minnesota Timberwolves top 3 trade targets!

Here are the top three trade targets for the Minnesota Timberwolves:

Dejounte Murray, Atlanta Hawks:

The Timberwolves would greatly benefit from acquiring Dejounte Murray, who provides offensive firepower and top-notch defense. A potential megatrade with the Atlanta Hawks could make this happen. If the Hawks have a strong interest in Karl-Anthony Towns, a deal could be on the table. Pairing Murray with Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels would create a formidable defensive trio on the perimeter, especially with three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert guarding the paint. The offensive spacing may be a minor concern, but it shouldn't hinder the potential trade.

OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors:

The Timberwolves, like any NBA team, could use a talented two-way wing player. The small forward position has lacked stability for Minnesota, and OG Anunoby would provide a significant upgrade. Anunoby's addition would strengthen the Timberwolves' already solid defense. He is also a capable offensive player, averaging around 16-17 points per game over the past three seasons while shooting efficiently from the field and beyond the arc. Given the likelihood of the Raptors undergoing roster changes, Anunoby could become available for a trade, making him an attractive target for the Timberwolves.

Tyus Jones, Memphis Grizzlies:

Reuniting with Tyus Jones, who previously played for the Timberwolves, would be a smart move for Minnesota. When the Timberwolves acquired veteran point guard Mike Conley, the team played their best basketball of the season. However, Conley's future with the team is uncertain due to his partially guaranteed salary for the next season. Even if Conley returns, the Timberwolves need a long-term plan at the point guard position. Trading for Jones would provide them with stability and strong decision-making skills. Jones, who is just 27 years old, has shown continuous improvement as a scorer and could lead the team for years to come.
